The Society welcomes applications for membership. The subscription for 2026/27 is £55 for each person.

The Society year runs from April to March but new members may join at any time of the year at a pro rata rate.

Lectures are held on the second Thursday of each month

Please note there are no lectures in August or December.

Members may introduce visitors throughout the year. There is a visitor  entry fee of £10 for each lecture. The first £10 will be deducted from their subscription if the visitor then joins the Society.

Alternatively if you look on the 'News' section on this website ( clicking on the three parallel lines in the top left corner of the webpage,and scrolling back to 13th March 2025) you can print off the registration form, pay by cheque or BACS and take along to the next lecture/or send to Vernon Wilson.

Staffordshire based Artist Robin Wight, has worked with the Trentham Estate for over 10 years, making magical creations out of principally stainless steel wire. The fairy sculptures are placed around the lake and gardens, sometimes in obscure places and form a trail for children and adults to follow.
