The lecture programme comprises ten lectures delivered in The Forum Theatre at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Lectures start promptly at 11.00 and last for about one hour. There is an opportunity to speak to the lecturer afterwards. Note there are no lectures in August and December.

Society affairs are managed by a committee drawn from the membership. Committee members serve on a rotational basis and we invite members to come forward to replace those retiring.

The Arts Society Magazine, a quarterly magazine showcasing activities across the country, is delivered to members free of charge.

The Society offers two 1 day excursions each year and in 2019 we shall visit Wentworth  Woodhouse and Hardwick Hall. We shall also  go to a matinee performance by The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford on Avon to see  The Taming of The Shrew . In December we shall combine a visit to Chirk Castle with a Christmas lunch. All these events are charged at cost.

One of the highlights of the year is the annual five day holiday. This year we shall go to Durham where we shall see the spectacular Kynren Festival.
