The lecture programme comprises ten lectures delivered in The Forum Theatre at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Lectures start promptly at 11.00 and last for about one hour. There is an opportunity to speak to the lecturer afterwards. Note there are no lectures in August and December.

Society affairs are managed by a committee drawn from the membership. Committee members serve on a rotational basis and we invite members to come forward to replace those retiring.

The Arts Society Magazine, a quarterly magazine showcasing activities across the country, is delivered to members free of charge.

The Society offers two one day excursions each year and in 2020 we shall visit Shibden Hall and the Lowry. A visit to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre for a matinee performance will be arranged on a date to be fixed. In November there will be a three day visit to see a Christmas Spectacular in Norfolk followed by a Christmas lunch in December.

One of the highlights of the year is the annual five day holiday. This year we shall go to Tunbridge Wells for an extremely interesting programme of visits to places of interest.
